Open your original image




















Open the layer and tool palettes




We will be using them frequently, so if you want to keep them open click the arrows in the upper right hand corner until they point up.











Duplicate the layer in the layer pallet

Right click on the layer and choose duplicate in the drop down list




















Go to Effects, Blur and select Gaussian Blur

blur setting should be 5.0

















Don't Panic at the results!!!


Well Will be adjusting them in the next step.
